Abstract: Recently, the integration of European bond market develops very rapidly, both of European government bond market and corporate bond market have make great progress. But, as the important part of the whole European bond market, the post-trading systems, especially clearing and settlement systems, also need further consolidation at cross-border level in EU, if not, it will affect the further development of integration of European bond market. So, it is very necessary to analyse the present situation of clearing and settlement systems of European bond market, and look for some reasonable means to improve that.
